Writing Contest!!!

I just found this post in my drafts and gasped when I realized I hadn't posted it yet!!!  Ooops!

There is a writing contest going on over at Whisperings of the Pen right now.  Because I am so late in posting this, there is now only a day and half left to enter the contest.  Entries must be in by midnight tomorrow.  There are three categories.  The contest rules, categories, details and prizes are all to be found HERE.

Do head on over and check it out!

  1. I have entered a few writing contests through the years but never do well with them. The other entries are fun to read though. Did you do one for it?

Thank you for the comment you left on my blog. It was nice to meet you.
Having to live without reading would be a tragedy. I always carry a book with me, something I learned from my mom. I spent the better part of my teen years with my nose in a book and still don't regret it. What kinds of books do you like?

Writing is also a fun pastime, one I prefer in the winter. I am working on a series of books at the moment, ones I've already written but am re-writing. I think I like writing more than re-writing. I was looking at the books you are writing, they all sound very good! I hope you publish someday so I can read them.

I have a cousin who loves horses. She takes me out riding sometimes which is always fun. Are you able to go alot?

Costume design is also a fun hobby. Do you sew your own costumes? I am not very good at sewing but I do enjoy it so create costumes from time to time. I am planning on doing more to help my brother with his photography business he is trying to start.

I have just been discovering British TV. I have a friend who loves watching Merlin and Doctor Who. Therefore, naturally, I have seen many of them. Sometimes I prefer British TV to American, though there are many old American TV shows I love. Such as Columbo, Get Smart, and the Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew Mysteries from the 70's.

Yes, I am planning on attending school to study Archaeology. I am very excited for it, more excited at the prospect of going on a dig.
Oh! You like to study Ancient Egypt? That is wonderful! I love Egypt, as well as Greece and Rome. I also like studying England's Middle Ages.
Have you ever heard of the Biblical Archaeology Magazine? They are a wonderful resource on all the Biblical digs and finds.

Thank you for leaving the link for your blog! I know I am going to have fun reading it. I would follow it, but my following button isn't working, so I shall simply have to bookmark it so I do not loose it. But I shall be back! And I look forward to getting to know you.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
